Our story began in Kyoto, Japan, over a decade ago — where a single bowl of matcha sparked a deep passion and inspired a group of friends to create Supercha Tea. To us and to many around the world, matcha is more than a drink. It’s a daily ritual, grounded in the traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony — a reminder that even quiet moments can leave a lasting impact. We started Supercha Tea with a simple idea: to offer matcha from the most renowned Uji producers at the most accessible price while helping those in need in the Greater Portland area.
