Our story began in Kyoto, Japan, over a decade ago — where a single bowl of matcha sparked a deep passion and inspired a group of friends to create Supercha Tea. To us and to many around the world, matcha is more than a drink. It’s a daily ritual, grounded in the traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony — a reminder that even quiet moments can leave a lasting impact. We started Supercha Tea with a simple idea: to offer matcha from the most renowned Uji producers at the most accessible price while helping those in need in the Southern California area. That’s why 10% of the gross from every purchase goes to local charities working to end homelessness in Los Angeles. We believe great tea can do great things and bring people together. But we're not stopping there. We’re working on a new generation of products you won’t find anywhere else.
